Transnistria

Olesea was trafficked to Istanbul at the age of 23. She spent three months in a brothel before a 16-year-old girl managed to call for help. The hotel was raided. After a month in prison, Olesea was deported. She returned to her home in Transnistria, an unrecognized territory tucked between Moldova and Ukraine.
